A man, who had recently received a degree in plumbing, visited the Niagara Falls. Upon arriving, he stood thoughtfully for a few minutes. Beside him stood a man rapt in wonderment. The plumber, finally, remarked, "I think I can fix this."

The Holy Communion is spiritually Sharing-in-Union, a process of Heart with Heart. This being with appears that moment we have opened our Heart to the other, and with no personal agenda imposed onto the other. In the Holy Communion we discover the Heart we share with the other is the same Heart the other shares with us.
Each person, like the Niagara Falls is an icon of the Good, the True, the Beautiful. We each are the image of the Divine Presence. This Presence infuses Its Mystery into each one of His, or Her, Creations. To see the Creation is to see the Creator.
If we could see others and ourselves as we truly, most deeply are, we would be amazed and awed in wonder. This seeing would be with the Heart, not the eyes, and not defined by anything we can put into words: thus, Silent Wonderment, Awed Quiet, Wordless Praise.

Recall times you have sensed the Wonderment of being with another person free of any personal agenda? What does it feel like when you are with yourself, in total acceptance of who you truly, beautifully are, and have always been? What is the freedom of being with others and situations, free of feeling the urge to fix them or it? What would a view of Divine Presence be like for you in which the Presence sees you and others as first to be loved, not fixed?
